The Wolf

At first glance, what I immediately liked about this picture was not only the subject matter, but the use of light and color. While you kept with the design of Link as a wolf, I like that you made him your own.

I do agree with your statement that the anatomy is a tad off in the face/mouth area; studying photos of real canines will definitely help you improve, but its a slight flaw and I almost didn't notice it at first. But despite that, the rest of the face is spot on for the style.

That being said, and this is just my personal opinion and really doesn't reflect upon your talent as an artist, I think a background of some kind would help make the piece have more impact. Even just a very basic background can completely change the appearance of a picture. (I know this particular picture is a speed painting so its a different situation.)

And finally, for a speed panting, this has a very clean, finished look, for which I applaud you. Well done!
